Hello Managers,

Thanks to all who helped with my newbie question. The
consensus was to run the ufsrestore from the root partition of the
ufsdump. I appreciate the help. Special thanks to David Foster for
the backup strategy document.

 Original question:
I really tried to crack the man page on this one but I can't sem to
get
it to work ......Here goes. I have setup a remote level 0 ufsdump
which is
working great. Since it is a level 0 dump I only have to do a "what"
command in interactive mode to verify the date of the dump. Is
there a way
to restore just one of the files using interactive mode to it's original
directory. When I do this now it creates the directory it came from
and
all other parent directories above it. I have tried to set the owner
mode
for yes or no after it scans the tape and it does not seem to affect
the
outcome. Any help would appreciated.
