SUMMARY Re: Keyboardless booting

The answer was much easier than what I thought - Patience.

I assumed the computer was not booting due to not hearing the bootup beep.
Thanks to Steve Hastings for pointing out that when booting without a
keyboard no beep ever happens. And the computer was not booting because I
had it with a different disk setup, and the operating system got
confused... And did not want to continue booting. Finally, the VT100
terminal I used to connect to that computer (it has no framebuffer card)
finally died after living a long life...

All together, I felt among the most stupid people in the world :-) Anyway,
thank you for pointing out the correct answer to me.
