ORIGINAL QUESTION:

Does anyone know the key combination that will send a BREAK signal to a
Solaris 7 Server that is being accessed via console using Windows
HyperTerminal?

ANSWERS:

I got a few suggestions to try CTRL+BREAK. I tried that and it did not
work. Finally, I went with the solution provided by Darren Dunham:

"You can try ctrl-break, but it doesn't work with all versions on all
OSs. In fact, it used to be that no version of NT would send a break.
That may be fixed with some new versions.

Easier may be to just download a copy of Tera Term Pro. It's free, and
the ability to send a break is just one of the ways that it is much
better than Hyperterm."

Tera Term Pro is available at www.tucows.com, if anyone else is interested.

Thank you to everyone for your help. Happy Holidays!
