SUMMARY: sending mail to a nextel motorola phone.

My original message:

I am trying to send mail from Solaris to a Nextel Motorola i1000 cell phone. I can send mail to exchange, hotmail, and a Skytel pager, without any problems, but the Nextel phone only displays the sender address, and none of the text.
I can send a mail message from an hp-ux server, and see the text without any problems. Has anyone in the group come across something like this? The sendmail.cf is almost identical between the HP and the SUN server.

Thanks to Larry Snyder for this response:

I had exactly the same problem. Make sure you have the requisite
blank line between header and body when you build what goes to
number@messaging.nextel <mailto:number@messaging.nextel> . The bat book is your (painful) friend.
