There're not any port scans that might be running. The only thing that
comes to mind would be the internal security scan, but that was completed
weeks ago. Nothing else on that network should be scanning anything as far
as I know.
In any event, I commented out the xaudio line in /etc/inetd.conf as you guys
suggested and then did a 'kill -HUP <inetd PID>'
That worked. The messages have stopped.
