Hi,
First of all I want to thank everyone who answered,
I have received a lot of suggestions, what worked for me is this:
Check in the sendmail.cf file for aliases file that sendmail will use ( grep
aliases /etc/sendmail.cf)
Add the alias to the aliases file (abc: fgh (local account), myuser)
run the newaliases command
check to see that there is a user in the /etc/passwd file (in this example
fgh and myuser need to be in the passwd file)
add a record to /etc/mail/virtusertable (myuser@mydomain abc)
make a new map using (makemap hash virtusertable < virtusertable)
and that is it......
Thanks again,
S
