I received several great responses. The idea of doing this via the physical
cable was blown out of the water, but two alternate solutions were presented
and I was provided another good resource.
1. Kbd command in coordination with the /etc/default/kbd file.
2. Use the "secure lock" ON position when turning on the system (if
Enterprise series).

Greetings,
I would like to disable the standard "stop" behavior of a SPARC resulting
from powering down a terminal or laptop connected to it via a null-modem
serial cable. I believe I've seen that this may be possible with an EEPROM
setting, but I'd prefer to do it at the cable level, so there is no
mistaking the results when dealing with multiple systems. I found some
information at
http://www.stokely.com/unix.serial.port.resources/A-B-Ycablepinout.html
which leads me to think it is possible by constructing a cable without RTS,
CTS, DSR, and DTR wires might do the trick (see below). Has anyone tried
this with luck and do you know if these are available for purchase
pre-constucted? Will Summarize.
Thanks.
