Special thanks to Patrick for his solution which works perfectly fine.
There is a problem with your XKEYSYMDB environmental variable.
Either it is not defined or it refers to a file which does not exist
or is invalid.
On Solaris,
setenv XKEYSYMDB /usr/openwin/XKeysymDB
will usually work.
