Subject: Communication and Routing problem !
Hello,
We have changed the ip addresses in our network. After the change some of
the machines are working fine and some not. The problem is when we issue the
command:
# netstat -r
The output comes after a long time, but it comes very fast if we remove the
default route entry. I think we are missing some files to change or some
information is being taken from old entries. The problem is on Solaris and
HP-UX. The files we have modified are:
On Solaris:
/etc/hosts
/etc/netmasks
/etc/networks
/etc/defaultrouter
On HP-UX:
/etc/rc.config.d/netconf
/etc/hosts
We are also facing problem like some machine not showing in Exceed, Some
machines give the login prompt very late etc. Can anyone tell me what all
files we need to re-scan and recheck ?
TIA
Deependra
