[Summary] short term backup solution

Thanks to everyone who responded and those still coming in:

It was pretty much as I suspected: ufsdump works fine on mounted systems (just
try for a quiet time) but best case senario is unmounted (just not realistic)

So I'll just create a simple script to do the multiple ufsdumps using a no
rewind device on all bar the last. The backups are normally run at midnite so
there should not be much activity on the system then.
