I didn't used netbios name for my samba server.
And I didn't use nmbd.
After firewall ,I changed the conf .
Then I got it .
The doc is really usefull to debug your conf...

I couldn't solve smb problem...
I am sending snoop output and smb.conf file.
When I snoop my sun, no netbios traffic can be seen.
Port 139 is active.( I can telnet to 139 )
No win98 machine can map sun machine file system.
When I tried to map, win98 machine gives me an error
" computer or share name could not be found "
I think problem is because of broadcasting
Sun conf is as follows:
IP:10.0.0.7 (static)
netmask : 255.0.0.0
broadcast :10.255.255.255

I am using samba in Solaris 7.0
Before firewall , we could use samba.(and all ip's are static)
After we do not. and DHCP installed.
I took an static IP from MIS. 10.0.0.7.
All programs running correctly except samba.
Viewed all log about samba that indicates no request logged from
10.0.0.x machines.
