Thank to all who response. After I do more investigation, and get details from
process id, it turn out that it was not regular tftpd service that cause defunct
processors. The parent process id point to a tftpserver from application that
was installed in the system.
My original question was:
I have a lots of defunck processes on my system that generate from tftpd.
How
can I stop or prevent it. In the /etc/inetd.conf file, I comment out tftp
service, and I still get lots of defunct proceses. Any idea what am I doing
wrong here.
Thanks,
Vinnie
