Well, my original question wasn't entirely clear. I _could_ enable/disable
the burst page, the problem really was that the printer seemed to lose
idea of CR/LF after disabling the burst page. The printer is an HP 2100M
series, which isn't in the list supported by the Sol1 version of Jetadmin.
Solution was (appears to be) to choose a different printer setting other than
'none of the above', in this case HP Laserjet 4/4M.
Possibly Fabrice Guerini <fabrice@isharp.com> was correct in sending:-
