Hi All,
I fixed the problem. The solution is to delete locale variables that it
complained about in /etc/default/init file, and reboot system. So all locale
variable is default to C.

My original question was:
Hi Gurus,
I could not figure it out what cause the warning messages below:
Wind/U Warning (270): Individual setting of locale environment variables
unsupported (LC_CTYPE); set LANG ins
tead.
Wind/U Warning (270): Individual setting of locale environment variables
unsupported (LC_NUMERIC); set LANG i
nstead.
Wind/U Warning (270): Individual setting of locale environment variables
unsupported (LC_TIME); set LANG inst
ead.
when we run our application that use window interface (GUI). We are running
Solaris 2.6 buil 5/98. The local enviroment variables is set to:
LANG=
LC_CTYPE=en_US
LC_NUMERIC=en_US
LC_TIME=en_US
LC_COLLATE=en_US
LC_MONETARY=en_US
LC_MESSAGES=C
LC_ALL=
I tried to set all locale variables to C, and I still get the warning messages.
It appears that these warning error messages did not affect the application, but
it is very annoying to users.
thanks,
Vinnie
