Hello Sun Managers,
Thanks to everybody how relpied, it was a hardware
problem. Replacing the CPU board has apparently
resolved the panic issue. Several people asked me
about the status of the patches, which I checked
and updated but nothing changed. And several more
suggested a crash dump, which is a good idea, but
by the time I made the setup and got the crash dump
my power supply burned out (I do not know if this was
just a coincidence or it was related to the CPU
problem) and I could not turn the system on to check
the crash dump...
Here is the original question, and thanks again.

====================================================
Hello Sun Managers,
This is my first experience with an E450. It has one
CPU, 1GB RAM, and a bunch of disks managed under
Veritas Volume Manager 3.0.2 on Solaris 2.6.
As of the time being, the system is not in production
yet, so almost nobody logs onto it. It only runs
InterWoven's TeamSite 4.0 content management server,
and a few users experiment with it.
But we receive a kernel panic almost every couple of
days, and the system goes down:
panic[cpu3]/thread=0x30023e80: Async instruction error
at tl1: AFAR 0x000001c8.01802800 AFSR 0x000000.80400400
.... usual dump reports ...
panic[cpu3]/thread=0x3003be80: panic dump timeout
Dump aborted
And then the famous "ok" prompt.
Any ideas is this can be a hardware or software
problem? Where I can start? Any pointers highly
appreciated since we should go to production very
soon.
TIA
