My orginal questions was :

I have machines A and B. Both machines running
Solaris 2.6 and sendmail SMI 8.8.8. Machine B is
allow to send mail to outside world whereas
machine A is not allow. May I know how to route
mail from machine A to machine B so that it can
send mail to outside world also. Sorry for this
dumb question bec I'm new in sendmail. Would
highly appreciate if someone out there can guide
me thru. TIA.

An excerpt taken from Robert Alexander's reply.

Let's say the mailserver on the 'A' machine is
mail.A.com in the dns.
On machine 'B' look for these lines in
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf (near the top)

# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DS

it changes to:

# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DSmail.A.com

restart sendmail to complete the change.

Thank you so much everybody.
