Special thanks to:
Sanjaya Srivastava [Sanjaya.Srivastava@Eng.Sun.COM]
Joel Lee [Joel.Lee@avnet.com]
They both hit the nail in the head by saying that I should use the
following command to find out whether I'm running 32/64 bit.
isainfo -v
AND HERE IS THE ORIGINAL QUESTION:
Is there any command which will tell me if my Solaris 7 machine is running
under 32-bit or 64-bit.kernel.
I'm aware of the file "/platform/platform-name/boot.conf which will allow
you to
bootup your machine in 32-bit or 64-bit, BUT how do you tell 32 from 64
when machine is up an running.?, any command?
Thanks in advance,
Vinnie.
