Here is may original question:

I have a E-450 running Solaris 7 and a QuadFast Ethernet Card attached to
it.
Right now only using 1 port out of those 4 port, it's running on a
100megabit network.

How can I configure it such that this card will run at an speed of
400megabit, what do I need to do?

Here is the answer to my question:

I'll need a software call Sun Trunking from SUN Microsystem in conbination
with a trunking
compliant switch to pull this off and last but not least my QuadFast
Ethernet Card that's
all that is needed.
