SUMMARY: Veritas Volume Manager 3.0.2 and Solaris 7

Hi,

Albeit the problem I encountered is still not
resolved, thanks for the people who replied.

"Green threads" is part of Java. Solaris 7 comes
with JDK 1.1.6 where as Solaris 8 comes with JDK
1.2. Two of people who replied pointed me either
looks like java in not installed (or not installed
properly) on my system or is not in the path
($PATH).

So what I did was I downloaded Java 1.2.2 from
Sun and add the packages; and also make sure I
have /usr/Java1.2/bin in front of /usr/bin.
However, I still get the same error message when
I ran "./vmsa &" trying to bring up the new Veritas
Volume Manager GUI:

"Green threads support not available"

Now, I'm stucked. I have the feeling that the
problem is caused by inproper environment settings.
Does anyone have an idea or maybe I can get a sample
setting that is working on your system?

Thanks again,

Regards,
-daniel
