myself also I Wrote a sniffer for FreeBSD which can work on Solaris also
if u have tcpdump ftp://ftp.righi.dhs.org/pub/sniff
solsnif and a lot of other tools are as well usefull and I know them very
well.
What I really wanted is a tool which monitors the networks status, routers
etc... I did not meant a packet sniffer.
