Original POST:

If I remote login with suplying my passwd (no .rhosts) everything if
fine.
If I remote login without suplying my password (using .rhosts file in my

home) I am not authenticated in NIS+

Is this normal ???

Answer:

If you do not suply a password , in.rlogind cannot do a keylogin for
you,
so you are "nobody" in terms of nisplus.

It's norman behaviour for NIS+ ;-)

Thanks everyone.
