Original question:
Can i safely remove everything under /var/sadm/pkg ?
Unanimous answer:
NO!
pkginfo uses what is under /var/sadm/pkg to report the packages that
are installed on your host. Removing /var/sadm/pkg will cause pkginfo
to report no packages installed and you will also lose the capability
to pkgrm.
