Dear all

  I asked a little while ago about this combination. It would
  appear that there can be times and ways in which the newer
  G3 Macs have problems with spanning tree on some switches.

  This is distinct from the quad card/trunking which having
  flashed the PRAM on the Macs and played with assigning appletalk
  addresses within the original range, as I removed the appletalk
  zones at the same time, there have been no problems since.
