sorry to bother the list. The issue was neither solaris or novell, but was
a routing problem between my subnets.

Subject: novell export/solaris 7 import
This is one of those "I'm quite certain it's not my issue, but hey, it
could be". I have 3 novell servers, n0, n1, n2 and a new solaris 7 box.
The solaris box can mount n0 and n1, but not n2. When it tries, I get the
following error:
# mount n2.gale.com:/data /mnt
nfs mount: n2.gale.com: : RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Timed out
nfs mount: retrying: /mnt
Now, the solaris 7 box can mount n0 and n1 and my other solaris 7 box can
mount all three of the novell servers. The
only difference is the first solaris 7 box was just added to whatever
novell uses for /etc/dfs/dfstab. All boxes
have been rebooted since this change. Is there anything else I can be
looking at from the solaris side?
thanks
