I learned a great many things about man pages over the last couple of
days. Thank you to all that replied:

rsaddler@cccis.com
Marco Greene
Edwards Philip M Ctr AFRL/SNRR
dwarfie@mindspring.com
Michael Ernest
vogelke@c17mis.region2.wpafb.af.mil
Bernstein, Zmira

Thanks to Edwards Phillip. He gave me the information that I needed to
get this problem resolved. (I did a man -d man and it hung up at the
windex file).

My original Question follows:

I seem to have hit a snag and need to ask for some help.

I have learned that in Solaris 7, it has set the normal man pages to
SGML format, but I cannot seem to be able to read them. when the
machine was first installed, the man pages were not put on (I wasn't
here), but now they are needed, and I can't seem to get them to read at
all. I have tried pkgadd-ing the SUNWman, SUNWdoc and any other
packages I can think of that have anything to do with man, but to no
avail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Chad Rytting
