I have learned that SIMMS for Sparc Station 2 are on the market (though some
distributors swapped them from their catalogues). Some distributors are

Others told me that normal 4x9 parity simms (30 pin) from a local PC shop will
also work.
Lastly I learned that the Sparc 2 does only work with 4 MB simms. 16 Slots in
4 banks are available, thus a maximum of 64 MB is possible.
Solaris 2.6 (even with CDE) runs with less than 64 MB but to my knowledge this
value is the recommended minimum.
