Thanks to everyone who responded:

The answer was to put the IP address of the default gateway into the
file /etc/defaultrouter. Bring down the interface then bring it back up. Or
just reboot.

Thanks again.

===========================================================

Hello Everyone,

For the life of me I can't figure out where to set the default
gateway for my ethernet interface. I'm not too familiar with
Sun Solaris systems. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I don't want to mess up any of the init.d files because I don't have a
backup of the system, so I kinda have to get it right on the first try :(

OS: Sun Solaris 2.6 / Sun OS 5.6

Thanks for any help,

- Rudy.
