you have just to go to /kernel/drv directory
and create glm.conf file
put scsi-options=0x3f8

Hi all managers,
Can any body help in finding out the parameters needed to be in /etc/system
file to fix the following problem.
I have Ultra60 machine with internal IBM 9.1 GB HD. Revision S98E. and three
external hard drives (seagate 2.1GB and Fujitsu 4.1GB rev. 2545) connected
in a scsi chain on the primary U60 scsi controller.
the problem we got is when you boot the machine it will display some warning
messages telling that the machine will reduce the sync. transfer rate .
this takes more than 8-10 minuets then it continues normal startup.
also there are the following warning messages in /var/adm/messages file
Aug 24 11:30:45 sun3e062 unix: WARNING: /pci@1f,4000/scsi@3,1 (glm1):
Aug 24 11:30:45 sun3e062 unix: Target 2 reducing sync. transfer rate

note: all WARNING messages in /var/adm/messages related to this FUJITSU
drive .
I have the same problem with another Ultra60 machine it has more than one
FUJITSU drive and the same error raised up in /var/adm/messages.
So please can anybody point me where can I find corrective parameters that
can be inserted in /etc/system file for this drive.
I will summarize. Immediately after 1st correct answer
