Many people were quick[1] to point out that these were lint-libraries.
And since we don't use lint (we have other tools) we can safely remove
them.

Many thanks top all of you who replied (the list would be longer than the
summary itself, so I just leave it at this :) ).

[1] I had 3 replies before I got my own message back from the mailinglist...
