What I did:
I commented out the the router in /etc/defaultrouter and restarted the
machine. In two minutes it came up and had the full routing table
assembled;) I also down loaded
ftp://ftp.gated.merit.edu/net-research/gated/gated-3-5-11.tar.gz
and will compile/install it asap.
Suggestions:
Most suggested www.gated.com; one suggested to upgrade to solaris 2.5.1 or
2.6 to have gated preinstalled; one suggested rdisc; and two suggested
routed, which is actually in.routed;)
Thanks list,
Joe
