SUMMARY: change ip address

To all who replied to my mail, many thanks.
Overwhelmed with the response !!

The shortest answer is to

edit /etc/hosts file and change ip address of local hosts
check /etc/hostname.hme0 and /etc/net/*/hosts. If any of these have
192.... they will need to be changed, but they probably just contain the
hostname and should require no alteration.

reboot the server
