Basically everybody seemed to be in agreement that there is no "easy" way of
checking to see what patches are installed. There are a few files
[/etc/install/patch*] where you can manually list the patches that were
installed. The showrev -p command is supposed to list what is in those
files.
One suggestion was to do a file by file comparisson to determine if the
patch(es) were in fact installed. This could be done in a script; however,
such a script would require some testing before implementation and I am on a
tight timeline.
