Well, thank you for the quick response -
I overlooked a very basic thing - thanks to Dennis Morse for pointing it
out. rmt is not in the default path (it is in /usr/sbin). Adding it to
the default path makes it work

Here's a a good procedure for determining whether a piece of software is "user friendly" or not. Ask yourself this question: "If this were a person, how long would it take before I punched it in the mouth?"
