My Original Question:
Hello Sun Gurus,
[1]We have SUN-Ultra-AXi box (333MHZ.) and external SCSI box contaning 6
SCSI disks.(CI design) My problem is if sudden power failure occur then
on next reboot I cannot see these disks. Unless I again switch off
everything and start again.
[2]I tried reboot -- -rv (reboot with reset) it won't work at all,
unless I power off everything again and start all over. Looks like
either I need some patch or some jumpers needs to setup. I am running
SOlaris 2.6 on Ultra-Axi system (333MHz.)
Any clue here?
I will summarize.

Thanks to many people those replied although I am not able to find
answer for which I am looking for. Here is the list of respondents:

[1] Most answers were surrounding the discussion that External SCSI box
should be
powered up before the CPU box. That's true and I prefectly agree
with this fact.
This is generally taken care off but since the box is on remote site
I can not ensure
this fact 100%. But I also tried following
boot with reset (reboot -- -rv)
or
ok boot -rv
Also I tried to rebuild device enteries with command like:
# /usr/sbin/drvconfig
# /usr/sbin/devlinks
# /usr/sbin/disks
Which in past I have used for other boxes when I connected SCSI box
live on the running Solaris box(without reboot or reset) and above set
of commands will configure SCSI device entries for harddisks and I will
be able to see disks without even rebooting the machine. Although I am
unable to get disks presence with my problem box above.
[2]People suggested UPS for the box. The box is already on UPS and
couple of times due to long power shutdown even UPS drained out
completetly. Although this is good suggestion.
Thanks all for your replies.
