Hi Managers,
Thanks to all who gave suggestion but it seems like it was a small
problem. Infact the Networker/Solstice backup uses a non rewinding
tape device and puts a mark on the tape after ending each backup set.
Just chnging the device name. has helped me out.

I'm using Solstice Backup ver 5.01. on Solaris ver 2.6. I'm using a
