Thanks to everyone who has helped me on this one, espescially Casper
Dik and Rafique Hasan, it was indeed a configuration problem, both
cards can be set up using m64config
I ended up doing:
m64config -dev /dev/fbs/m640 -res 1280x1024x75
m64config -dev /dev/fbs/m640 -depth 8
m64config -dev /dev/fbs/m641 -res 1280x1024x75
m64config -dev /dev/fbs/m641 -depth 8
All seems to be ok now.
