Hello To All:
I received no response on this one. I ended up reboot the server to kill
it.
Thanks,
Here is the original question:
To All Helpers:
I have Solaris 2.6 on Ultra-II system.
I was trying to run pkgadd SUNWpppk package and the process hung after
showing adding ppp....
Here is the screen capture:

I then found the drvconfig process is still running in the system after I
kill the telnet session.
I have tried to use kill -9 pid but it still refuses to die. Are there any
way to kill this process without rebooting the system? Does it do any harm
to the system if I force to reboot the system while it is running?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Zion
