Until now, I got two replies:
1. Have you tried lpstat -t? (squaint@cac.net)
yes, I did, and I get this:
scheduler is running
system default destination: psmono
device for psmono: /dev/bpp0
psmono accepting requests since Wed Oct 7 16:16:26 MET DST 1998
printer psmono is idle. enabled since Wed Oct 7 16:16:21 MET DST 1998. available.
character set
2. try: lpadmin -p <printer name> -I any ("Evans, Dennis L" <dennis.evans@amp.com>)
I tried, but got no result.
Furthermore, I found out, that i can use the printer from WinCenter (NCD's
add on to WinNT 3.51 and Citrix WinFrame - sorry for mentioning M$ products
here ;-) and from Win95...
However, it turned out, that a simple reboot did the job: now everything works
fine again.
