 Got one response, thank Dennis

Sybase is notorious for grabbing as much memory as is free.
Maybe check your sybase memory allocation values?
Normally, if another process needs the memory, sybase will free it up...

This hogging of memory maybe distorting your CPU values.

[likun] this doesn't clear my question, If somebody here has any
suggestion,
please contact me without hesitate. I will be very appreciate.

The system call consume most or my cpu.
my question is :
1. does this normal for the syscall, not user process, consume so high
percent of cpu ?
2. Is there any way which can let me know which system call take the major
percentage?

thanks in advices
