I only got a few responses, but that's probably because I didn't search
the archive thoroughly enough. :) Thanks to:
Christian Masopust <rudi@tmn.sie.siemens.at>
SALLEA@kben.co.uk
Tom Erickson <Thomas.M.Erickson.1@gsfc.nasa.gov>
Torsten Huebler <torsten@mail.sachsenlb.de>
The best response was from Christian, who sent me the summary dated Sep.
4, 1997 by "W. Clem Karl" <wckarl@acadia.bu.edu> which was a detailed
step-by-step procedure for doing exactly what I require. The other
responses were distilled versions of this. Basically, I need to dump all
the tables, remove NIS from the master, and re-init the master with the
new domain name and repopulate the tables.
Thanks again!
B

Pinky: Uh... yeah, Brain, but where are we going to find rubber pants
our size?
