About a week ago I asked a question about being able to get a SPARC IPX to
display to a VGA monitor. In short the answer was yes. However, there are
a few things that you need.

1) A 13W3 (Male) to HD 15 (Female) adapter. Sun part number 130-3034-01
($40 CDN)
2) A Multisync monitor that will support the video output of the cgsix card
on the IPX.

One person replied saying that they are using MAG, Phillips. & HiVision with
the older SPARC machines.

Another person replied saying that they are using a Hitachi Superscan Elite
17" monitor.

Many thanks to the following people who responded to my question:
Heidi Burgiel
Matthew Stier
George Broadfoot
Chad Rytting
Aleksandar Milivojevic
Carsten B. Knudsen

For those of you who are interested the IPX supports the following video
modes:
1152 X 900 [61.8 KHz X 66 Hz]
1152 X 900 [71.7 KHz X 76 Hz]
1024 X 800 [71.7 KHz X 86 Hz]
1022 X 1000 [81.1 KHz X 76 Hz]
