Many thanks to a wonderful list. I won't list the names of those who responded
since the list is long but again, many thanks. The summary of responses is below
with the original question following.

SUMMARY:
1. Use the 'tee' command to send the output to the pts device of the junior
admin: telnet host | tee /dev/pts/# .

2. Use the GNU program 'screen'. I haven't installed this yet but it is
something for the future.

3. Locate the programs 'peek', 'GNU ttysnoop' or 'tty-watcher'.

4. Use 'kibitz'. It doesn't come on the system but part of the tk/tcl/expect
suite. Since I will be rolling this out locally it will help for my local
troubleshooting.

5. Use the command 'script'. This works along the same lines as option #1. The
commadn would be: script /dev/pts/#

Most likely I will be using either option #1 or #5 to do the work. I don't have
to install any software at the remote site and it should work with most of the
UNIX operating systems.
