The common answer is to use third-party utilities.
Lsof - list open files. You can get it from the following places:
    ftp://vic.cc.purdue.edu/pub/tools/unix/lsof
    ftp://vic.cc.purdue.edu/pub/tools/unix/lsof/lsof_3.79_W.tar.gz

Also you can use builtin utilities such as
/usr/proc/bin/pfiles
/usr/proc/bin/fuser
