Hi
Sorry for delay, I wasn't here for 2 weeks.
My original question was:
> I am trying to install and configure IMAP4 server for Solaris 2.5

> imap 143/tcp # IMAP

But I was making two mistakes:
1) I wasn't running the right version of IMAP. The right version could
be found at:
ftp://ftp.cac.washington.edu/imap/imap.tar.Z
2) I didn't need to start the imapd at the boot time because the inetd
daemon will start the imap software automatically when traffic comes in
on port 143.
And after installing and configuring this, I just need to do:
kill -HUP <inetd_pid>
