Hello all,

I have some process that from time to time stop responding
i need to have a dump of it, how do i make it ?

I'll summarize,

regards Stots.

========================================

Most of the solutions talked about truss ,gcore and SIGSEGV
which i find great to my needs.

1. truss -p PID_OF_STOPPED_PROCESS
2. Try gcore -i [process-id]
3. kill -11 <PID> will generally force a core dump
