Solution :
The problem was that the print system in Solaris 2.6 is different from previous
versions. Because of this the C.xx.xx versions don't work with 2.6. I downloaded
the latest version D.04.12 and installed. It's on ftp://ftp3.hp.com, in the
directory /pub/Networking/software. It's name is, SOLd412.PKG.
Now, it works fine.
This was my original message.

Hi,
We have some problems using jetadmin with Solaris 2.6. It was wotking well with
2.5.1, but if we change the version to 2.6 it stops.
Our problem is : If we send a file to printer using lp it seems like ok, but we
can't get the output. So,
-------
[kalkan:balkas:~]lp -d HPLaser filename
request id is HPLaser-20 (1 file(s))
-------
But there is no output. All users and forms are allowed, accepted and enabled.
When I tried to verify the installation of the Software I get this error :
--------
The HP JetAdmin Utility for UNIX (C.02.00) is installed.
/usr/spool/lp/model/postscript.sol is missing
/usr/spool/lp/model/topcl is missing
/usr/spool/lp/model/tops is missing
bootps service not found in /etc/inetd.conf.
Software verification failed.
-------
Any reason or help on this is greatly appreciated.
