My original posting was:

     Question for the group.

We are looking to install a product on our Sun server to support
peer-to-peer application communication between Sun and the IBM
     mainframe.

Anyone have any experience or can point me to a location for
additional information on available software and/or hardware.

Thanks to the many many people who responded. The overall
response/solution(I am not sure if it is our solution as we have not
brought it in to test) is:

SunLink P2P I think version 9.1 - actually, this was a product from
Brixton but has recently been purchased by Sun. We have a Sun rep
coming in this week to give us an overview on the product.

Some of the responses were, why not use tcp. That, of course would be
our first choice. However, our customer needs to connect to a main
frame from a certain company, and they require the lu6.2 connection.

Again, thanks for all (too many to list) of the responses......
