In Summary, here is what I did.

First of all, as what most of you suggested, I downloaded the more recent
DU (Driver Updates) and install them on my system.

They are located at http://access1.sun.com/drivers

After this, I located the file

/kernel/drv/cmdk.conf which originally looked like this:

#
#ident "@(#)cmdk.conf 1.8 94/06/07 SMI"
#/
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=0 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=1 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=2 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=3 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=4 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=5 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";

And then appended the following to the end of it.

name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=6 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=8 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=9 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=10 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=11 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=12 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=13 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=14 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";
name="cmdk" class="scsi" target=15 lun=0
        scsi_audio="sccd_sony","sccd_std";

After all of this was done, I reconfigured the system
touch /reconfigure and everything seemed to be happy..

Thanks to all whom replied
Chris
