An ansi-standard tape has header blocks of 80 bytes.
As "man mtio" sais, the tape device for 1/4" cartridges expects a
multiple of 512.
Thus, even with "bsd compatabilty", it is not possible to read an
ansi-standard tape.

Any comments?
