SUMMARY-E10K (file manager)

Original Question:

We have a E10000(big iron) up and running here. Great machine
lots of power and space. Yesterday however a user double clicked
on an executable file in the file manager which eventually brought
the system to its knees and we had to reboot. When the user
clicked on the executable - file manager spawned a bizillion instances
which eventually consumed all resources on the machine. Has anyone
run into this problem before. Any help would be appreciated.
I will summarize, again thanks all for your help.

Addendum:

{SunOS upu150 5.5.1 Generic sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise-10000}
-it is a sas executable-
    {sas -sysparm dart3/i1 -autoexec /phcommon/code/phstart.sas}

No while loop in the exec, here is the output from
                /var/adm/messages:
{inetd[216]: rusersd/rpc/udp server failing (looping), service terminate}
{unix: WARNING: Sorry, no swap space to grow stack for pid 15677 (in.rexecd)}
{unix: WARNING: /tmp: File system full, swap space limit exceeded}

Summary: The fix seems to be the addition of "set maxuprx=300" in the
          /etc/system file on the E10K. I verified this with Sun.
                  (Thanks Oddvar Andreassen, that was the ticket)
